Audience Development Plans

Resources for change have a proven track record in supporting Audience Development Plans (ADP's).  We have specialist skills and knowledge in rural and natural resource issues and work with associates involved in tourism, landscape and built heritage.  This means that we can provide a 'top-to-toe' service encompassing all aspects of ADP's including Landscape Character Assessments, Access Audits, Training Plans and Interpretation.

What is an Audience Development Plan?

ADP's help to assess and increase peoples access and involvement. This can be in relation to a 'Landscape Asset' or in other contexts.

They help identify what a particular area, site or project offers people now, what it could offer in the future and looks at ways in which this could be made more relevant and accessible to a wider range and greater number of people.

in relation to a particular site, colection or activity an ADP investigates who currently visits or gets involved in your work; who doesn't; what the barriers to involvement might be for different people; and what you can do to increase peoples access and involvement in the widest sense.

If you are applying for a Heritage Lottery grant, or are interested in having a clear plan of how you can involve people in your work or project, an ADP ccould be for you. Heritage Lottery Funding can be used to protect and open up the countryside and greenspace, support parksand make vital contributions to nature conservation and social inclusion.
