Tamworth Markets Review
In August 2008, Tamworth Borough Council appointed Resources for Change as consultants to carry out a review of their town centre market.
Other than a 2001 Better Value report, no review of the market had been made and one was required to assess how to develop the market as a major and growing asset in the town.
Using our experience gained from carrying out market reviews for other councils, Resources For Change used various consultation methods to gather information to feed into the report. These included:
- Identification of Relevant Information and Document Review - to inform the initial stages of the work involved in this Review
- Stakeholder Analysis & Consultation – we undertook participatory investigative consultation with stakeholders in order to get beyond the simple answers and to understand issues of cause and effect
