FLOW project Evaluation

In 2015 R4C started working with the volunteer led Manhood Wildlife & Heritage Group to develop and deliver the evaluation for an HLF funded project they are running. The FLOW project, (The Fixing and Linking Our Wetlands) is working with local communities to improve and enhance the wetlands habitats on the Manhood Peninsula to the south of Chichester in West Sussex. This area is rich in wildlife, including having one of the largest Water vole populations in the UK but is also very prone to flooding so reconciling these potentially differing needs is a key challenge for the project.

We were thrilled to hear in November 2016 that the project had been successful with their HLF bid for over half a million pounds.
