A major concern for many people around the world is efficient use of our resources including land, crops and minerals; as well as how we view and treat waste and fertilisers.
R4C has experience of working with these sectors, specialising in consultation and engagement for larger initiatives and supporting local community level systems.
This has included engagement with communities around landfill sites in order to overcome conflict; facilitating debate on incineration, landfill, and other sensitive issues.
We have also worked with a number of businesses to improve what they do. This has included:
- supporting internal dialogue for a medium sized engineering and planning social enterprise during its company change management process;
- reviewing a small Community Interest Company’s business model and forward strategy for engaging household level energy and carbon impact behaviour change (included placing temporary management into the organisation);
- designing marketing of more environmentally friendly waste and resource management for a Registered Charity;
- business planning for small social enterprise and other community energy and waste companies / initiatives.
