Despite the challenges posed by Covid-19 restrictions in 2021, Resources for Change (R4C) were able to successfully deliver a series of face to face public consultation stalls at the Bedgebury National Pinetum as well as in Hastings and Ashford. This complemented a public online survey which garnered over 1,200 responses and a series of stakeholder interviews to ensure a robust evidence base for the audience development plan.
The plan outlines a simple and grounded audience development framework that aligns with national Forestry England audience planning, containing 10 practical actions. This will help inform future internal planning and approaches to key funders such as the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
