The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust (HIWWT) is a partner in a major nature recovery project in the Solent, funded by the Endangered Landscapes & Seascapes Programme. Their role is to explore behaviour change interventions that might mitigate the negative impact that water-based recreation has on Seagrass beds.
Working with our friends at Evolved Research & Consulting, we are currently evaluating this project, helping to develop an understanding of what works and why, capturing lessons learnt and documenting the projects impact. The results will then be fed into the development of a wider seascape recovery plan.
