Evaluating resilience development

Flooding, in many parts of the UK is becoming more prevalent, having a detrimental effect on more communities and individual households. The Ox-Cam project is one of three UK Property Flood Resilience (PFR) Pathfinder projects that have been funded by Defra.

The aim of the programme is to reduce flood risk by encouraging the future take-up of flood resilience measures and techniques by residential and commercial property owners and tenants, and by influencing a range of relevant business and public sectors to incorporate property flood resilience as business as usual.

R4C has been appointed to undertake a project level evaluation, to gather evidence about processes and impacts in the Ox-Cam project, and to share in-depth and actionable insights in the ways to build individual and community resilience to future flooding.
