Having helped secure £180,000 from the Cultural Recovery Fund to help support the Thameside Theatre post Covid, R4C were appointed to facilitate the development of a new Business Plan.
Adopting a co-production approach, R4C helped the Theatre service to articulate their vision for the theatre and translate this into workable strategies for developing a streaming capacity, using external venues, make more of their existing theatre space and support the cultural development of Thurrock. This included financial modelling and forecasting work, governance assessment and operation.
R4C also supported the commissioning process for streaming and marketing consultants, subsequently working with Wave Science Technology and Beth Nicholls to develop these aspects of the Plan in detail. Our work helped secure an additional £77,500 investment from Arts Council England and has left the Theatre better placed to benefit from other funding opportunities as it reopens its doors this summer.
